On a side (more trivial note) the Rain Man scene on the left was Bonnie Hunt’s first acting job in a wide released theatrical film. In the next four years she acted in Beethoven, Beethoven’s 2nd, and Jumanji.

We screened our second documentary today for our Documentary film class. It was called David Holzman’s diary. This is a still from my favorite shot. Tonight was the first time we finished watching a film and I didn’t want to get out of my chair to leave the theatre. I needed a moment to review in my head what it was I had just watched. If I wasn’t so tired right now I’d be happy to give a more detailed review, but alas*, I’m exhausted.
*(unnecessary Harry Potter Reference) Every time I ever use the word ‘alas’ I think of Dumbledore. “Alas, Earwax”
